Jesus loves the little children, and Oakland does too. We are committed to collaborating with you as a parent, helping your children discover the bright future that is ours through Jesus Christ. Our Preschool and Children’s Ministry is a nurturing place where caring adults show children Christ’s love in a warm, clean, and safe environment. We understand the unlimited potential in every child. We seek to provide the kind of love, acceptance, example, and teaching that will help your child be all that God wants them to be.
Every week you will discover a well-rounded program that includes Bible study and memorization. Your child will also have opportunities to worship God with songs and instruments of praise. Broad ranges of fun-filled activities are provided to help your child meet friends and make lasting memories. We invite you to come let us teach, love and care for your children. Sunday
Sunday School – Birth-6th Grade – 9:00 am
Every Sunday morning special workers provide love, care, and learning experiences appropriate for each age level to guide children to knowledge of God and His Word. In these small groups, boys and girls make lasting friends and experience God’s love through teachers who care about them and their families. Extended teaching care is provided for children birth through age 5. They also have the opportunity to worship on an age-appropriate level in Children’s Church.

Grades 4-6
This is a special age-appropriate worship opportunity after the Sunday School hour, while parents are in the worship service. Through Bible stories, games and action songs, boys and girls learn about worship and grow in their love for Jesus.
Graded Choirs – Age 4-Grade 6 – 5:15 pm
This program, designed to introduce boys and girls to music, meets throughout the school year. Special performances are regularly given during the evening worship services.
Child Care – Birth-age 3
During the evening service, childcare is provided for young preschoolers. They are assigned to a room by birth date.
