What will you do with the rest of your life? Golf, rest, vacation, fish? These are all well and good, deserved and needed, but they will not show the Lord’s strength and power to the next generation. Seniors have a job to do, a mandate to follow, a course to take. The Adult Ministry at Oakland is here to help. We provide many wonderful opportunities for you to be actively committed to and involved in worship, maturity, ministry, evangelism, missions, and fellowship.

At Oakland , we believe you never stop growing in your relationship with God and with others. Each of the following opportunities will help you make your golden years your most fruitful years.

Bible Study – 9:00 AM
You’ll make new friend as you fellowship around the teachings of God’s Word Sunday mornings at 9:00am , Led by gifted teachers, these classes offer in-depth Bible study one book at a time. Teaching focuses on taking the timeless truth of God’s Word and applying it to your life today. There are plenty of opportunities for service, fellowship, and friendship. We believe you never stop growing in your relationship with the Lord and with others.

Worship – Sundays at 10:15 AM 
Oakland ‘s Worship Services are a joyous celebration of our wonderful Lord and Savior . The music will focus your heart and mind on His majesty and glory. Then Pastor Randy Bostick will bring the Word of God to life that not only honors our Lord, but changes lives by His Spirit.

Life Groups – Wednesdays at 6:10 PM

Music
Oakland ‘s Music Ministry enhances the worship services each Sunday Morning and Evening and includes opportunities to be involved in both the Sanctuary Choir as well as the Sanctuary Orchestra. There is also a Handbell Choir, which performs at functions both inside and outside of the church.
