Online Giving

Giving at Oakland Baptist Church is a matter of worship, stewardship, and obedience.  We believe that the ministries of the church should be supported by the tithes and offering of the members of the church.  In addition to tithes, members are also encouraged to give
  • To the 20/20 Fund - which is currently being used to pay for adding educational and worship space for our youth.
  • To missions throughout the year.  We also have a month of missions which highlights the need to support missions, as well as educates the members on mission efforts of the Southern Baptist Convention and our church.

Ways to give

Oakland Baptist Church offers several ways to give.

  • Offering Plate – Check or cash preferably using an offering envelope
  • Online Giving

1. Web Site – oaklandbaptist.org
2. Oakland Baptist Church App – download from your App store
3. Text to Give - Simply text “give2obc” to (888) 364-4483.  You will be sent a text with a link to the OBC giving portal, and you can follow the instructions to set up your giving.
4. QR code giving - QR code giving is similar to text to give, except instead of texting a number, simply use your phone to scan the Oakland Baptist Church QR code to be connected to our giving portal.  We plan to print the QR code on our bulletins and also have it available in the pew. From there, provide the necessary information to set up your giving.

Note that you may set up your online giving either through your bank account or your debit or credit card.  Processing fees apply to each of these methods.
