From Our Pastor

Corrie Ten Boom wrote, “When a Christian shuns fellowship with other Christians, the devil smiles.  When he stops studying the Bible, the devil laughs.  When he stops praying, the devil shouts for joy.”

A couple was touring the capitol in Washington, D.C.  The guide pointed to a tall gentleman as the congressional chaplain.  The lady asked, “Does he pray for the Senate or for the House?”  The guide answered, “No, he gets up, looks at both houses of Congress, then prays for the country!”
