From Our Pastor

In 1940, artist Walter Sollmon painted a portrait depicting his image of Jesus.  The picture of Christ knocking at the heart’s door remains the single most popular picture of Christ ever created.

During the 60’s a teenager came to his dad and asked him for a car.  His dad said, “Son, pull up your grades, get a haircut, and then come back and see me.”  Nine weeks later the young man came back to his dad.  “Dad, I’ve pulled up my grades.”  His dad said, “Why didn’t you cut your hair?”  The young man said, “I saw a picture of Christ and He had long hair.”  His dad said, “Yes, and He walked everywhere He went!”
