From Our Pastor
The Robert E. Lee pleasure boat steamed out of Vicksburg. Hundreds of people were on board. After midnight the boat caught fire. The first-mate rushed down through the saloon and through every corridor to wake everyone up.
Some people became angry at being awakened. Some were amused. Some just didn’t believe it. Some believed it to be true and made their way to safety. Most died in the flames.
That is exactly the way the world is treating the warnings of God. Some get angry when presented with the straight gospel. Others are amused. Some are waiting for a more convenient season. The boat is on fire! Time is running out.
