From Our Pastor

A “Hobby Farm” is a small farm that really doesn’t produce any crops.  They merely provide some recreational land and a few horses for the owner’s children.  The hobby farms have all the appearances of a real farm, but it is just a facade.

It seems like we live in an age where many of our churches have become hobby churches.  Hobby churches have the sign out front and the steeple on top, but they do not partake in the harvesting of souls.  Over time, the church became inward focused and ignored the enormity of the harvest.  The church became more of a pleasure place than a rescue center for lost souls.

If we are not winning souls to the Lord, we are not living up to our calling.
